Telrad Introduces MultiService Access Gateway
Telrad Networks, a veteran developer of carrier-grade telecommunications equipment, has just released the TL6500, a MutliService Access Gateway (MSAG) for service providers looking to make the migration from legacy systems to move towards triple-play networks of voice, video, and data.
The TL6500 supports a wide range of user interfaces, including ADSL2+, VDSL, G.SHDSL, Fast Ethernet, POTS and ISDN as well as Giga Ethernet uplink. The robust and scalable solution allows for outdoor as well as Central Office applications of single or multiple shelves, depending on the required capacity

The TL6500 has successfully been deployed with several of Telrad’s customers in Asia. TL6500 is optimized for advanced broadband applications, featuring a high-speed Ethernet-based backplane, broadband service cards and advanced IP/Ethernet processing as well as narrowband and legacy services.

PADTEC S/A ACQUIRES CIVCOM
Padtec S/A (Padtec), www.padtec.com a Brazilian provider of optical network solutions announced today the acquisition of Civcom Ltd, www.civcom.com a leading Israeli optoelectronic module manufacturer, with HQ and R&D center in Israel.
Civcom and Padtec are building a long term relationship whose focus is to have Civcom as a strong player in its market.
